One recent project is a short film shot in January, 2021, during the height of the pandemic. Created in collaboration with Sandglass Theater in Putney, VT, videographer Chris Kitchen, and lighting designer Jerry Stockman, the film combines our arrangement of Nadia Boulanger’s “Heures Ternes” (“stagnant hours”) with the artistry of puppeteer Shoshana Bass and director Eric Bass, speaking directly to those stagnant hours that have crept over so many of us during this frozen time, but also offering hope for a “ray of sun” and the enduring power of life and art.
