23-24 Season features five world premieres, four new commissions for Merz Trio
This season, Merz Trio has been honored to premiere works by George Lewis, Loren Loicano, Karim Al-Zand, Ching Chu Hu and Philip Maneval. We are particularly excited to have had the Lewis, Loiacano, Al-Zand and Hu trios written especially for Merz and extend our gratitude to these composers for their imagination and collaboration.
Merz Trio makes Carnegie Hall Debut
Merz Trio made its Carnegie Hall debut on April 17th in the beautiful Weill Recital Hall. We were thrilled to perform before a packed house and honored that our program featured a new trio by the renowned composer George Lewis, who was in attendance. Our gratitude goes to the Walter M. Naumburg Foundation for commissioning the trio and for their general support.
Merz Trio makes Concertgebouw debut in Amsterdam
